Raising awareness and involvement on energy efficiency campaigns
The Community Energy Lab
The Community Energy Lab is an innovative pilot project based at the Selby Centre in North London, and in collaborating with students at the Centre for Alternative Technology. Its aim is to use waste materials from the centre and turn them into viable insulating materials, which will then be used to retrofit the centre.
This will have many benefits. Reducing waste, creating new jobs, creating materials from local resources for retrofitting urban buildings, reducing transport within the construction industry, and reducing carbon emissions. Support us to get funding by going to energyshare.
Wood Works Wonders
Wood Works Wonders is a social enterprise based at the Selby Centre that recycles wood for social good.
We work with anyone with the time, some skills and an interest in using traditional woodwork techniques to make socially useful products with recycled wood.
The Energy Saving Trust advice centre
The Energy Saving Trust advice centre London offers local face-to-face support to communities and groups wishing to work together on energy saving products to reduce their carbon emissions. This Video shows Selby Trust's involvement with raising awareness and involvement on energy efficiency campaigns.

We are committed to lowering our carbon footprint as a learning, social and economic community. By doing so we will save money and generate employment in the "green economy".
