Bruce Castle Park

A large green space in north Tottenham, parts of the land date back to the eleventh century. This is Tottenham’s first park, opening to the public in 1892, embedded with lots of history. Features in the park include tennis courts, a children’s playground and paddling pool, and Bruce Castle Museum, housing the local history collection. The park also has an ancient oak, reputedly over 400 years old.
Chesnuts Park

Chestnuts Park is an open playing field with a café and picnic terrace at the southern end of the site, a playground, outdoor gym, tennis courts and a multi-use games area (MUGA) which, although designed for football, can be used for a variety of sports. There is also a basketball hoop and line markings just outside the MUGA. The park also has a community willow garden and orchard of 21 fruit trees.
Downhills Park

To the west of the site is a recreation ground, used every weekend during the season for both organised sport and for more informal kickabouts by children and adults of all ages. The formal gardens lie to the east of the Park.
Down Lane Park

Located at the heart of Tottenham, the Lordship Recreation Ground is the largest park in Tottenham. Opening in 1932, key features including the ‘Model Traffic Area, the Moselle Brook which runs through the site, a skatepark and Harmony Gardens. This is the largest park space in Tottenham.
Lordship Recreation Ground

Located between the Town Hall area, Tottenham High Road and the bus garage, Tottenham Green provides a green, open space which is used by regular recreational activities and by the monthly market. A major feature to the south of the site is the war memorial along the high road.

Tottenham Marshes

Tottenham Marshes are located to the extreme East of Tottenham, covering over 100 acres of land. The Marshes are amongst the last remaining examples of semi-natural wetland in London. Tottenham Marshes forms part of the wider Lea Valley Regional Park, following the route of the River Lea. The main features of the site are the expansive selection of wildlife and vegetation, the River Lea and brooks which run across the entire length of the site, and the recreational spaces for exercising and cycling.
