The coronavirus vaccine programme continues to its rollout, with the next priority group to be offered the jab.
The NHS has started inviting people aged over 60 to get the life-saving vaccination from Monday (March 1).
There are many people in this category across our community - aged 60 to 63 – that will be invited to book their vaccine, with the programme gaining further momentum. Letters will be on their way, but you do not have to wait for a letter. The booking service can be accessed at http://www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination . Those who cannot go online can call 119 free of charge.
NHS teams are visiting those who are housebound and cannot travel to a vaccination service.
People aged between 50 and 60 are due to be invited shortly.
