North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (NCL CCG) is seeking views on a draft single fertility policy for our boroughs – Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
In North Central London, there are currently five fertility policies in place – one for each borough. This is because, before the formation of NCL CCG, each CCG had its own policy and there are some variations between the five policies.
We are working to develop one new fertility policy for Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. To inform the development of this new policy, the CCG undertook a review, seeking the views of patients, residents and clinicians and examining clinical evidence and national guidance. From this, a set of recommendations was produced to inform the development of a new policy.
A draft single policy has now been produced. We are seeking feedback from residents, fertility services and clinicians on this. The views you share will be carefully considered by the CCG as we finalise the single policy and will inform planning for how we promote the policy once it is in place. The engagement window will be open for 12 weeks from 22 November 2021 to 13 February 2022.
