Staff from Moorhouse Consulting helped out Selby Trust staff today, Friday 8 July, volunteering and helping maintain the Global Garden area at the front of Selby Centre.
Tasks completed included:
Dismantling large planter boxes using hand tools
Dismantling and disposing of broken planter boxes using hand tools
Weeding using gardening gloves and hand tools
Clearance of litter across the site
Ciaran Vieyra who is a manager at Moorhouse Consulting said ‘’it’s nice to give back to the community and get away from my computer for a day’’.
Ciaron also added that ‘’It’s been really good to hang around with some of the team, actually make a difference… I would recommend it to anyone who wants to help out the community, to come down to the Selby Centre’’.
