Trauma resilience – recognising symptoms and learning strategies to diffuse trauma
This training programme uses an asset-based community development approach. It is not therapy-based, it is about gaining information and is aimed at local people networked within their own communities who want to learn more about loss, trauma and resilience.

About the Event
Training will be delivered by Community Change Trainers: Lourdes Colclough and Emma Quintal
This session will cover; recognising symptoms for PTSD and secondary trauma. Learning strategies to cope including grounding, a risk check list, a defusing network and cue-controlled relaxation.
This is not a therapy-based session, it is about sharing a processed incident and identifying new skills.
