Last week we hosted our very first Ready, Steady, Pitch event for the Selby Trust Small Grants Programme at The Trampery Tottenham!
The event brought together members of our programme, our fantastic panel of judges, Natasha Benn, Tom Llyod, Orla Dunne, Hamza Ghafoor, Vernette John-Joiles and our 8 finalist, Gentle US CIC, Orange Bow CIC, MindSpark, HoPEC House of Polish & European Community, London DJ & MC Academy CIC, The Shapes UK, Florissa Designs,LIT Base Global.

Every pitch was truly inspiring, showcasing creativity, dedication, and the power of community-driven ideas.
A huge congratulations to our two winners:
🏆 MindSpark CIC – Who are a social enterprise that work with teachers to bring insights from psychology and neuroscience into classrooms, so every child can learn, belong, contribute and thrive.
🏆 London DJ & MC Academy CIC – A youth arts social enterprise connecting people through music. With over 100,000 young people engaged, their outreach projects, community events, and artist development programmes have helped launch MOBO-nominated artists, mainstream DJs, and future leaders in music.

We’re proud to support such excellent organisations as they continue to expand their impact, empowering young people and communities across London.
A big thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and cheered on our finalists.
