Community Engagement Officer vacancy at Endometriosis UK

Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity that supports those living with endometriosis, and are hiring for a Community Engagement Officer.
Job purpose
The Community Engagement Officer will be proactively engaging and building relationships with marginalised communities in London. They will be working with these communities with the aim of coproducing a range of materials and events that will raise awareness and understanding of endometriosis, leading to improved diagnosis and access to care and treatment.
They'll be recruiting, developing and supporting networks of community ambassadors, ensuring long term sustainability. This role will be integral to ensuring we are working in a way that supports all those with endometriosis and proactively reaching out to underrepresented groups including lesbians and women in same-sex relationships, the trans communityand those facingracial inequalities. The post holder will also be raising the profile of Endometriosis UK within these communities.
This role sits withinthe Information and Support Team, working with and supported by our EDI Project Manager. The closing date for applications is Monday 6 November at 9am. We will be offeringsuccessful candidates a virtual interview on Tuesday 14 November or Friday 17th November.
