You can join free poetry workshops to help co-produce a toolkit for change as part of the Forgotten C Campaign. These workshops are run by Macmillan Cancer Support, with the aim to create space for people affected by cancer, especially those who are underserved because of ethnicity or postcode, to help share their stories and affect positive change to cancer care services.
Storytelling is one the most powerful tools we can use to achieve this. That is why Well Versed Ink and Macmillan Cancer Support have partnered to address health inequalities in London, using poetry and storytelling to provide the tools for seldom heard groups to access decision makers and budget holders for a better cancer service. No experience is required as part of these workshops. You can find out more and register your interest for the workshops by going here.
