Many people do not realise that they can wipe out historic energy debts, take up warm home discounts and are not aware of how best to switch their energy suppliers.
For the second year, The Selby Trust is part of the Big Energy Saving Network, in partnership with National Energy Action and the Department of Business Energy & Industrial Strategy to deliver help to people at a grassroots level.
One to one advice sessions are available via our Outreach and Community Organising Team to equip consumers with the knowledge and confidence to save money by switching their tariff, supplier or payment method and to check whether they are eligible for energy efficiency programmes.
Each Champions would welcome the help of volunteers to provide admin support and do outreach with them.
