The Ubele Emergency Conversation Part 2: Lockdown, Vaccines and the Virus Thursday 28 January 2021, 6-8pm
There are a lot of questions without answers around the vaccine and COVID-19 impacts for the BAME community. Disproportionately affected by the health system, valid reason to mistrust the government and the vaccine - the issues now added to a high level of grief, bereavement and loss in our communities. The death count is rising daily. The Ubele Initiative are hoping to capture and hold space for intensifying discussions within our community about what steps to take: with government ministers, medical specialists and community leaders.
