This workshop, part of our Selby Community Enterprise Programme, was both creative and analytical, which included brainstorming, shortlisting ideas, and utilising business models for analysis and reflection. Participants also had the chance to practice presentation skills.
Key Highlights
Idea Generation and Analysis: Participants learned techniques to brainstorm and evaluate business ideas effectively.
Interactive Sessions: Collaboration with peers helped refine concepts and provided constructive feedback.
Business Models: Various business models were applied to assess the viability and potential of the ideas.
SWOT Analysis: We conducted a SWOT analysis to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with each idea comprehensively.
Pitch Competition: Amazing pitches of new business ideas opened up great discussions, allowing participants to hone their presentation skills in a friendly competition judged by their peers.
This workshop allowed participants to gain foundational knowledge and skills to turn visions into reality.
