Victor Olisa has 35 years of experience as a police officer working in Surrey, City of London and the Metropolitan Police Service and he was the Borough Commander in Haringey from 2012 to 2016.

After retirement from the police service in 2017, he took up a position in academia as a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics carrying research study into the culture of leadership.

During his police career he worked with police forces, civil society and human rights organisations in a number of countries that included the United States of America, Brazil, South Africa and Sweden.
